VIDEO: Eli and Peyton Manning rap their way through a new commercial for DirecTV's Sunday Ticket

It’s Eli Manning like you’ve never seen him before ... and maybe never want to see him again.
In a video that is as fascinating as it is disturbing, the Giants quarterback teamed up with his quarterback brother Peyton in a rap video/commercial for DirecTV’s Sunday Ticket. In the three-minute spot, both Mannings dress up as stereotypical rappers – which for Eli included a curly wig and apparently fake tan – as they rap their way through the streets of New Orleans.
Even Archie Manning, the family patriarch, makes a cameo, sitting on a throne and wearing a wig that would’ve made Liberace blush.
It’s certainly an interesting twist in the acting careers of the Mannings, who have all appeared together in several previous commercials. Eli and Peyton, of course, previously took their comedic turns as hosts of Saturday Night Live.

There was no immediate word on whether either brother is considering a career in rap music – though after listening to the video that would seem unlikely.

Forget the doctors, forget Tom Coughlin and forget the GM. The only person who will decide when Jason Pierre-Paul returns to action is Jason Pierre-Paul.
JPP made that clear Tuesday, saying that he will return from June back surgery only when he is fully healthy and when he feels ready. He has no plans to rush back in time for the regular season opener on Sept. 8 in Dallas, even if GM Jerry Reese says he should.

“At the end of the day, you know that the coaches, general manager and the head coach want you out there to help the team out. But it’s on me, like I said,” said Pierre-Paul, who opened training camp on the physically-unable-to-perform list. “I’m focused on coming back 100% (rather) than being like 85%. You know what I’m saying, I know I’m going to be a big factor on the defense, so I’d rather come back 100% and that’s it.”
That’s hardly what Reese suggested in his WFAN radio interview Tuesday morning. It was then that the GM said JPP was “on schedule” and “looking good, he’s running around on the field a little bit.”
“We expect him hopefully to be back,” Reese said, “ready to go for the Dallas game (in Week 1).”
But Pierre-Paul refused to stick to that timetable. As long as he’s out of the lineup, the Giants lack a dominant pass-rusher. But as long as he’s not healthy, he won’t rush back.

“No, it’s not important to me at all,” Pierre-Paul said of playing in the opener. “I already know that the D-line that we have here is gonna go out and get the job done . . . It’s up to me. I don’t feel comfortable going out there when my body’s not right.”

Linebacker Dan Connor, who was arrested on July 6 for carrying a switchblade in his luggage at a Philadelphia airport, has entered a pre-trial diversion program in which his record would be expunged if he stays out of trouble, according to the AP.

On one play, Ryan Mundy drilled Ryan Torain. On another, tiffany outlet Jacquian Williams smashed into Da’Rel Scott. And neither play made coach Tom Coughlin happy. Coughlin briefly yelled at defensive coordinator Perry Fewell because of the physicality of the full-pads practice, asking the coach, “What are we doing knocking people down?”
“We don’t want them on the ground,” Coughlin said later. “That was too much of that today.”

Rookie defensive end Damontre Moore, who attended Texas A&M, said “people are being a little too hard” on Aggies QB Johnny Manziel, who is being investigated by the NCAA for accepting money for autographs. tiffany
“You know, (Johnny) is like a little brother to me,” Moore said. “I think people are being a little too hard on him, but at the same time, it’s like my dad always said, I don’t look at who’s right or wrong, I look at what you do to put yourself in that situation.”

WR Hakeem Nicks (groin) returned to practice, as expected, and saw limited action in team and individual drills . . . G Chris Snee (hip) was activated off the PUP list . . . Safety Cooper Taylor strained his left hamstring. . . . OG James Brewer was “dinged”, Coughlin said . . . TE Larry Donnell rolled his ankle.
